Don’t forget all the ongoing ways you can support this wonderful school:

• Recycle Ink Cartridges/Cell Phones Sierra earns between 10¢ and $5 for each ink cartridge (empty or full) and cell phone we recycle!  Please drop them in the front office.
  
  
• Box Tops.  Another easy fundraiser - just cut out the coupons from General Mills products and drop them in the box in your child’s class. For more formation check out our Box Tops page
  
  
• ESCRIP. Remember to register your cards today, participating business partners contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to Sierra Elementary. More details are listed on our eScrip page.

Sierra Elementary is having a BoxTops Contest for the month of October. The winning class who submits the most BoxTops will receive a popcorn and movie party in their class. BoxTops need to be turned in to their class by October 26th.

BoxTops are an important way for our school to receive additional funds. Last year Sierra received over $900 dollars from BoxTops. Get out your scissors and start clipping!!

Sierra has a great opportunity to make additional funds at no additional cost to the school or to the families that participate in the scrip program.

What is Scrip?
Sierra buys Scrip (gift cards) from Great Lakes Scrip Center.  Sierra gets to purchase the gift cards from the Scrip center at a discounted price and then sells the gift cards for the face value to the families.  This discount or rebate goes directly to Sierra. 

Why buy Scrip?
In addition or purchasing scrip cards for birthday, Christmas and teacher appreciation gifts, many families purchase the gift cards for their own personal use for their weekly shopping at Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Safeway, etc. Gift cards are useful when filling up the family car at ARCO, Shell, Chevron, or when going out to dinner at Chili’s or the Cheesecake Factory.  

By purchasing Scrip you are helping our school without spending any extra money
